WWDC 2011 is over. Loads of new features have been included in iOS5. The huge update will drop in fall (Autumn) and apple claims that there’s a new feature for just about everyone; and I think they’re probably right, i cant wait!
Check out the video posted on the Apple website showcasing iOS5 and let us know what you think; or If there’s anything they’ve missed out or if you’ve fallen in love with what’s to come!

These are two little springboard widgets I’ve come up with a while ago and I said that I would share them so here they are. One is a mod from one of MAX’s widgets from dbar, so credit goes to him for it.

Some feedback would be nice !

Green Poison
I thought I should make a quick blog about this, I’ve had the Green Poison Jailbreak for IOS 4.2.1 for a week now, and I’ve noticed a couple of problems and one that nearly put an end to the life of my iPhone.
(let us know if you’ve had any Problems)

These are some really nice carrier logo icons created by Mudzung. I take no credit for them. he shared them on dbar forums, but I always see people requesting for them so I thought I’d help the cause of his original post.
As far as I know, these only work on an iPhone 4. Let us know if they run on your 3GS/3G.

Here’s a small theme that I did about an hour ago. The BIG FAT default rotation lock icon that sits on the status bar has been bugging me for ages. As usual I look around before trying to make anything myself, because I suck at photoshop; but I never managed to find anything this time. So I made something myself!

Extract the file. SSH or iFile into your themes folder. Place the UIImages Folder in your current theme. (Gladhander in my case). If you dont have a theme I guess you can just put it in the themes folder like you would anything else and activate.
This is for iPhone 4, if you can make it work on your older device, let us know.

Now this tweak has been around for a while. I wont lie, I was a bit scared to use it because reviews said how buggy it was so I stayed away. a view versions later and I have come to realize how awesome it has become. It literally transforms and changes the look of your home screen. With so many layouts to choose from on Cydia and with the tweaks default settings, you can’t really get bored of it!
Iconoclasm provides a number or layouts for your icons if you want more icons (5x5) on one page or prefer a minimal look like the screen shot above then this is a great tweak.
The Folder bug is the only known issue I’m aware of for this tweak and I’ve been using it for a while. Basically you cannot put more than 8 apps in a folder or the folder won’t open while this tweak is activated. I’m not sure if this is only with the 3x3 layouts but it is a well known issue.
Besides that it is an awesome tweak that I can’t really see myself not using anymore.
One thing I would like in a later version is a Free From layout, where you place your icons anywhere on the screen and it stays there, a bit like the GridLocked tweak.
This tweak can be downloaded for free from Cydia.

Not long ago i posted a tutorial on editing the labels of the lockinfo plugins.
Now with the help of Jenna @ dBar ill be sharing sharing a way to have you’re Lockinfo plugins displayed horizontally as demonstrated.
I think this was already done/created by LEXS1141, but I’m not sure, so all credit goes to the original creator, but I’m just sharing this as It’s my own modded version and it is something me and a few other people have wanted.
Unfortunately i haven’t figured out how to make the sections expand, so all you get is the count of your notification. But i guess this will be fine for most!
By default it will work with Mail, Phone and SMS only. You can edit the config files to show more Plugins.
Unzip and place the folder in winterboard and activate, should work right away.
Open the css folder and edit the style.css. Right at the bottom of this file is the attributes for the position of the icons. Edit “margin-left:” with a higher or lower value to move the plugins more to the left or right.

(Update) A link to all the wallpapers is at the bottom!
This is a combination of our favourite lockscreens. There are one or two classics, but most of these you might not have seen before. We are going to give you a little review of each as well as our rating for each theme. And the best thing about these themes is…THEY’RE FREE!
